Who We Are
A community built on diversity
The G:URL*s coding club was started by a group of FLINTA*s with diverse backgrounds and a passion for IT. Even though our club and our team is growing, our dedication to diversity is still strong. Although we come from a variety of national and ethnic backgrounds as well as fields of study and professions, we are united by our passion to expose more FLINTA* people to the world of IT and programming, while creating a community to facilitate growth in a supportive environment. We are grateful to everyone who wants to be a part of this journey with us.

Co-Founder & Social Media Lead
Software developer building C# applications for train production. Loves organising events, inline skating, gaming, and meeting new people. Fun fact: invite her over and she'll show up with a home-made cake!
Laura
Co-Founder & Project Management Lead
Organises projects and events and leads workshops. If you ever see her working, you'll notice she needs at least 3–4 different drinks to keep up concentration.
Julia
Strategy & Partnerships
Responsible for strategy and partner relationship management. Works in IT consulting, supporting companies in their digital transformation. Motivated to make the tech industry a more inclusive and diverse space.

Currently studying molecular biology and working in sales. Fun fact: "I can tell the manufacturer of a roller coaster by the look of the tracks."

Project Management
Software Engineer at Vendure. Passionate about bouldering, board games, and making change in the tech industry. Fun fact: can do a pull-up.
Andreea
Project Management
Passionate about telecommunications, working as a Software Engineer at a small telco company. In her free time she likes playing tennis, reading, and doing all kinds of DIY things.

HR
Holds a Master's in Cognitive Science and puts her passion for understanding people to work on the club's HR team. Fun fact: despite studying the human mind, her brain refuses to function without coffee first.
Marjan
Social Media
Has a master's degree in computer engineering and works in an IT company. In her free time, she enjoys content creation, photography, and discovering new music while enjoying a cup of tea.
Anna
HR
Currently doing her PhD in Theoretical Biology, where she tries to understand evolutionary processes through statistical analyses in R. Outside of research, you'll likely find her doing sports or watching horror movies.
